Chapter 2234: Creeping in

As I watched the world speed by, I felt that things really were going to develop the way that it did in my past life.

Since there was no magic, the only thing that people could do to make things better for themselves was to develop new technologies.

It was just that there was also something strange that developed during this time.

While it wasn’t a direct connection to me, there was something that connected me to this world.

"This religion..."

I couldn’t help feeling conflicted seeing the religion that had developed because of the few acts of intervention that I had done.

It was impossible for me to hide everything that I did, which meant that they would be able to pick up on a few acts of intervention from me.

From those acts of intervention, the notion of god appeared.

They thought that these were miracles that were acts of gods, which was why they had developed a religion for worshipping this god. Since there were multiple signs, it wasn’t as if this was a religion that developed in a single place.

Not to mention that this world wasn’t that big in the first place, there wasn’t much that separated them and they were able to share their ideas more easily. That just made it even easier for them to combine their ideas of their gods into a single religion.

This became the singular religion of this entire world.

Of course, it wasn’t as if any religion could be completely devoid of corruption.

There were those that used the name of the religion to commit crimes, which resulted in this strange feeling from me. It was as if a part of this was blamed on me since I was the one that their religion was based on to begin with.

But it was only a small part.

It was the greed of these humans that caused them to do this in the first place.

To be specific, it was only as if there was this small unpleasant sensation that filled me.

Other than this, I could feel the power that came from their faith.

It was no wonder gods developed worlds, they would become stronger from the faith that they received. Only for me to receive this power from the same faith would mean that...

I put this thought out of mind and focused on the people of this world.

As expected, they were progressing through the different ages and it seemed like their development was going well. It seemed like it was a matter of time before they reached the level of what could be considered a developed civilization.

The only problem now was...

"How much do I have to guide them before this trial is over?"

The only instruction that I had been given was to guide them.

There was nothing that told me just how much they had to be guided for this trial to be considered over. So in the end, I just continued guiding them along the same path as before.

It was just that I really wanted this to end...

"Let’s take a closer look at this world. I’m sure that they won’t have left out something as simple as this." I said as I stopped time in the world.

Just like how I could speed up time, I could also pause time with the clock that appeared.

As for why they would have this function, it wasn’t hard to guess.

Not to mention that I was trying not to think about it that much.

To stop time like this definitely wasn’t an easy thing and they had put it in this world that was being used for this trial.

It had to serve some kind of purpose.

"What is that thing? Why is it creeping into this world?"

This was something that I hadn’t noticed before, but it really was hard to ignore it when it was showing itself like this.

It was something that I was very familiar with, so it wasn’t hard for me to recognize it at all.

It was just that the moment that I recognized it, I knew that this trial wasn’t as simple as I thought it would be.

This was most likely the thing that I had to face to actually complete the trial.

"How am I even supposed to deal with this thing?"

The only thing that I could do to get rid of it was directly interfere with this world and use divine energy to purify this destruction energy. Only it was dangerous to keep interfering with this world with divine energy.

There was no telling what kind of influence it would have in this world, especially since it was something that was created with divine energy in the first place.

After using the screens on the desk for a while now, I had already figured out just what they were made of.

Since this was a trial that was given to me by the gods, then it only made sense that it was created with their power.

But now that destruction energy was involved, that made me think of one thing.

"This is a trial that was created by the God of Creation."

If that was the case, then there had to be some kind of way to clear this.

The God of Creation had some kind of plan for me, so they wouldn’t create a trial that couldn’t be passed at all. Which meant that I should be able to do something about this destruction energy that appeared.

"It really is a realistic model of a real world. There’s even destruction energy that appeared as well."

After a pause, I couldn’t help asking myself, "Does that mean that there’s also a God of Destruction in this world?"

Before I could sink too far into this thought, I pulled myself out and focused on the people of this world.

Right now, the most important thing was figuring out something that would help them deal with this destruction energy.
