Otherwise, no true immortal would favor them, allowing entrance to the Immortal Palace; even if Imperial Father and Imperial Mother ascend in daylight, it wouldn’t be surprising, only that they’d separate from us again and become hard to meet."

Nangong Yi said: "Your Imperial Mother and I, only because we are unwilling to leave you, did not stay in the Immortal Realm. As long as you’re here, we won’t contemplate becoming immortal."

Of course, if they were no longer around, that would be another matter.
